Four Teams to Represent New Brunswick at the 2026 Minor Box Lacrosse National Championships

The countdown to Canada's biggest minor box lacrosse event is on, and New Brunswick will be proudly represented by four talented teams at the 2026 Lacrosse Canada Minor Box Nationals in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from August 11-15. The championship brings together the country's top young box lacrosse athletes to compete for national titles and some of the sport's most prestigious trophies.

This year, New Brunswick will be represented by:

• U13 Coed, competing for the E.G. Dopp Trophy

• U13 Female, competing for the Box Championship Cup

• U15 Coed, competing for the Commissioner's Trophy

• U15 Female, competing for the Rose Engemann Trophy

Earning the opportunity to compete at Nationals is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and determination displayed by these athletes throughout the season. From countless hours of practice to exciting provincial competition, each player has demonstrated the teamwork and dedication needed to wear the New Brunswick colours on the national stage.

The athletes will compete against the best minor box lacrosse teams from across Canada, gaining invaluable experience while representing their communities, teammates, coaches, and families. For many players, participating in the Minor Nationals is a highlight of their lacrosse journey and an opportunity to create lifelong memories both on and off the floor.

The success of these teams would not be possible without the dedication of volunteer coaches, team staff, officials, parents, and supporters who continue to grow the game throughout New Brunswick. Their commitment has helped create opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills and compete at the highest levels of minor box lacrosse.

As the teams prepare to travel to Halifax, the entire New Brunswick lacrosse community is invited to cheer them on and follow their journey throughout the championship.
